Principal's Welcome

September 8, 2020

Dear Parents/Guardians:

As the Administrators of St. Theresa School, we would like to sincerely welcome you to our school. Inspired by the innocent spirit of the child, St. Theresa’s building majestically sits on a beautiful landscape rich in a natural environment where students can enjoy Mother Nature’s wonder. With the help of all its members, St. Theresa School is blessed to be a part of a welcoming community that works diligently at helping and supporting our students in spirit and in faith.

This year, more than ever, we have had to rely on our school community and our Faith to help guide us along during these unprecedented times and unknown circumstances. It is during these times that we are able to see how the relationships between home, school, Church and community are needed in order to help support our most treasured gifts, our students.

During this pandemic and with our educational journey, our goals remain rooted in all that we do. We aspire to create a learning environment that embraces the development of the whole child, including academic, social, emotional, spiritual, artistic and physical. We cherish the opportunity to help cultivate each student’s God-given gifts and talents in all areas.

At St. Theresa, we are proud to celebrate our Catholic Faith, traditions and the spirit of giving that is created through many opportunities and relationships within our Faith community. We welcome you to join us for our monthly celebrations of Faith, along with the Virtue Celebrations and Grand Father Teachings. We cherish the opportunity to support each student by offering our students the opportunity to become leaders/mentors in their Faith development.

Although we are faced with many new circumstances this year, St. Theresa School has a dynamic staff that looks forward to embarking in an exciting academic journey with all of its students from JK-8 and have many adventures and experiences planned for this academic year. Our school offers many programs such as the Early Learning Kindergarten Program, French Immersion and Extended French Programs, The S.A.I.N.T. Movement, Outdoor/Environmental Education, a Learning Commons and our Catholic Leadership Team (Student Body) that plan many activities for our students. Our Parent Council meets regularly to help enrich and support our education.

As parents, you play an important role in your child’s education. We look forward to working closely with you and value your partnership. Thank you for considering St. Theresa School for your family, where Education is “Rooted in Faith and Alive in Spirit”.

Yours truly in Education,

Micheline Lamarche Rhonda Lindeman
(Principal) (Vice-Principal)
